ok well first off, if you havent heard about it you can get a preview version of it here:

my main question is about importing music. Im thinking it may be because its just the preview, but it wont let me import any other music file other than a wma. Well i can probably import .wav too but thats stupid. Also, when i did find a .wma song i imported it and when i put it in the timeline there was no sound to it, it was like a blank file. So ya, anyone else have this problem? Im interested in getting it but if its not able to support mp3 im definitely not.
 
actually its my bad. it's not 3.0, its CS3, so ya, the question is regarding Premiere CS3
 
its confusing but its differnt then you think. 7.0 was released followed by 2.5 which was the newest up until 3.0
 
see. this is what the threads about. i have premiere cs3, but i cant import mp3s. So im wondering if anyone else has tried it and if anyone else has had this problem
 
Well...seeing as you could import mp3s on the previous version, I would be pretty certain...but i dont know, maybe just a wierd glitch or something. You could maybe e-mail Adobe about it? Im not sure if theyd answer tho but its worth trying...
 
ya i think i'll give an email a go. Im thinking they may have made it so you cant import mp3s for licensing issues or something. not sure. i'll throw em an email.
 
ha at first I thought u were talking about FCP 6, (hating on PCs) speaking of which, anyone know anything about that?
