How do I make my titles move over the clips? I can only make stationary ones.

titles in premier are ODD

heres how u do it

create a title, and drag it into a seperate video stream above the video. CLICK and hold shift, then click both the title and the vid track

you have to set a transparency. Click 'clip' from the menu, go to video opions, and select transparency.

select screen, and play with percentages. After you render, your title will appear over the video

note...the title must be ABOVE the video in the timeline. if the video is above the title, the video will overlay OVEr the title and it will looked all fucked up

I can get them to appear, but how do I make them move? Like scroll down or across the screen...

you have to set a motion path in the title window. Just get a manual, no offense, but you could definately benefit from one. Makes thing so easy for beginners

sorry i misread your original question

on the icon pallette to the left of the title maker you will see a 'T' with an arrow () under it. This is the text motion tracker. You use this tool and drag a motion path for your text, play with settings such as speed and whatnot

alternatively you can right click on the title clip in the timeline, go to something like video options, then motion to set the path.
