Just when you thought your Thanksgiving weekend couldn’t be any more eventful, ROME has chosen Boreal Mountain resort to host the 5th Annual Premature Jibulation. Join us this Saturday, November 29 2008 from 10am-4pm for good times, product tossing and free hot dogs! This event will feature local shred kidz jibbin’ for a chance to win a ROME board, bindings, outerwear, bragging rights and more! Sorry skiers, this event is a snowboard only contest. Rome Snowboards has covered all competitor fees for the day, all you need is a Boreal lift ticket or season pass. So grab your shred stick and head up to Boreal this saturday.

sorry guys and gals. This one is for boarders only. It was supposed to be at Sugar Bowl, but they have no snow, so we helped Rome out and hosted the event.
But, look at it this way. With the event going on, all the snowboarders will be fenced in and the rest of the park will be yours for the taking.

This used to be one of my favorite events back when I was super into snowboarding. Hell, I would have gone this year back in my home state (MN) but college and not snowboarding anymore makes it hard. 
Such a good vibe and Rome really hooks the event up. Too bad there aren't these kinds of huge preseason jibfests for skiers. Maybe there is and I'm hoping I'm wrong? anyone know of any?
