Predictions on first skiiable snow.

For about a month now i have been saying that the first skiable snow will be in mid october. But seeing as on the third its 85 degrees and sunny i feel like thats not going to happen. To be honest i wouldn't mind if the world had another ice age....think of the powder.
 
have faith brah, its the warm before the storm, and Ice ages usually do start after the world heats up, too bad they take hundreds and thousands of years to really make any progress.
 
well they've already had snow at my home mountain, but here in the city it's still hot and sunny haha.
 
in time, ec i'm guessing mount snow will start making snow at night when it cools off a good amount, they have enough guns to plaster the mountain so it should be marginally early, if not, fuck
 
october 20th was when i took my first skin out of the tline parking lot last year. hopefully before then
 
my fingers are crossed for this weekend. its snowing right now and we have an inch or so. if its white its skiable right?
 
ha. word. Be careful with what you say about white though. If its any type of coldish snow, then you can ski it
 
Wow, next week some nice warm slush is supposed to fall at whistler! Up to 10 cms a day at about a 1800 meter freezing level.
 
god damn this is ppissing me off cuz it was lke a billion degrees out today

and our winter usually doent start til lke mid november

ice age.....that would be awesome
 
Someone posted pics of them skiing on September 1st in Utah, so I guess I would say it had already passed haha~
 
thats what people say every year. last year, people were saying "oh no a basin cant open by the 15th, blah blah blah, im so negative, them wham!! they opened the 10th! and it was hot as poop.
 
yea first skiable snow was over a month ago.

dude, it snowed up here in mammoth and we had a pretty good session today. tomorrow we are going back with our camera to get a little video.

we set up a down rail(25ft), flat down(30-40ft), and a lunch table jump

I'm going to go up again tomorrow and get more footie with hopefully more snow and a rock ride.
 
well its actually been getting really cold lately in quebec so i think we might get some snow maybe late october or early nov. which is early for us
 
We already got four inches here. Prolly will melt though but id love to be skiing by Nov. 4th like a few years ago.
