I can tell you follow football. I guess losing skilled veterans, and gaining little to no talent improves your team? Put that on a team like the Patriots, who don't have any key players, or players with extensive skill. The Patriots have always been just a well rounded team. The "Dynasty" (haha) was full of players that had the ability to get the job done, and that's what they did. It worked, good job for them, but they won't get lucky. Bills for the AFC East. Go Bills.

you call chad brown and chad scott no talent replacements. brown may be declining but he was one of the best players on teh seahawks defense. scott has 19 interceptions in 91 games, starting all 91 of them. also the pats were already stacked at the linebacker position last year. the cornerbacks did alright filling in for law too.

The patriots have had a great off-season, yes they lost vets but other than Bruschi none of them will greatly affect the Pats in the upcoming 2005 season. And if you say ty law is a big loss then you most of not seen that they won the super bowl without him. Oh and the Patriots are fucking idiots right? They forsaw that Bruschi would not play and picked up a player in Chad Brown who will not replace Bruschi's big play presence but will replace the raw numbers, not to mention they picked up a great offense of lineman in the draft in Logan Mankins

And then there's losing the the assistant coaches. Again the pats were prepared to lose them and they knew Eric Mangini would be the Defensive cordinator of the future. With Brady running the show and Mangini the loss of the coaches will not be a problem

Tom Brady is not the best quarter back. He's up there, but he's definitely far from the best. The team rides his shoulders, and he delivers plays when the need be. Like i said, it's a team of players that has the skills to finish the job. I never said they suck, nor did i say they were average. In my opinion, if you took any of those players you listed, and put them in another team, there numbers would drop. The Patriots have an atmosphere, and intimidation. Those players all fit together in the Patriots organization, and function well together.

All teams pick up replacement players in the draft and offseason. It's called preparation. I never called the Patriots "Fucking Idiots", but your defending it as if i did.

That's the statement I was critisizing

And again your wrong, if you put those players on other teams their numbers would go up much higher. Deion Branch is a number 1 reciever on most teams and would easily get 100 catches if he was not in the pats system. If a guy like Tom Brady was in a different system he could be racking up the TD's like Peyton but the Pats like to run and do short passes. Seymour's job is not to sack the QB but rather take blocks and let guys like Vince Wilfork and Ty Warren get in there. So if Seymour was in another defense he would have much better numbers. I could go on all day. Like everyone else you do not look at those details and you just look at the numbers and say oh they are serviceable and can get the job done when in fact they are all great players.

 
This is a tough arguement, especially considering you're much more openly biased toward your team than i am to mine. My difference in opinion automatically makes me wrong, apparently.

I still stand by what I say. There is no way Tom Brady would put up numbers like Peyton, nor could he ever match the skill of Peyton. All your players mentioned have skill, but they certainly aren't top notch, top 5 in their position players. Those all-star players aren't what win super bowls either though (TO? haha what a joke) My point from the beginning was, the Patriots have undergone too many changes to be the same team. They'll have a hard time bringing the same atmosphere and intimidation to a game. They will win many games, but they won't repeat their success.

The Bills on the other hand, will rise up on the heels of, or surpass, the Patriots in the division.

We'll have to wait until the end of the season to truly see, because right now this is just speculation. We can't defend our points, because the players listed haven't performed on other teams yet.

I'm not biased towards my teams, it's the whole fact that they've won 3 super bowls in 4 years while the Bills have um sucked for the past 4 years. The PAtriots are the model franchise in the NFL and o say they won;t win a super bowl again after what they do year in year out is just stupid. Richard Seymour not top 5? Harrison not top 5? Brady not top 5? Dillion possibly top 5, wtf are you talking about? And yes brady would not put up numbers like Peyton in another system but he would put up consderably better numbers than what he is now.
