Predicament...

so i got some scratch bc's for my birthday, which was about two weeks ago. on my third day on them, i blew a hole in my sidewall by turning in a foot of fresh and uncovering a very sharp rock. rossignol and the shop i bought the skis from wont do anything for me. the skis are still ok, but i can see about two inches of core and the edge is unprotected/prone to coming out. my dad wants to take them because he likes how they ski, so i was all set to buy a new pair of skis. today, on the way home from skiing, my beat-up AR6's fell out the back of my dad's pickup truck on the highway and we never found them. so i am down two pairs of skis in a week. any suggestions for a ski to replace both pairs? i ski in vermont and ski pretty much everything, from park and urban to bumps, trees, and powder, and i am 5'6'' and 120 lbs.

Man, thats rough. I take it your looking to buy a one ski quiver?

I guess you would want something in the area of an 89-95 waist? Have you looked at anthems? They seem to be a pretty solid ski in the park that you can take around with you to the deeper snow. Plus, they arent a whole lot of cash for this years ski.

Maybe look into some of last seasons ARV's or firstbloods, you can get those for around 300-350$.

I don't know this, but my reasoning is that its a mini rocker, not a straight up rocker, so i doubt it would affect much at all. I've heard that they are an incredible allmtn ski...get them if you have a deal

Apparently the Anthems aren't great in powder/deep snow, but that's just coming from one guy I know.

very true, I'm sorry if I didn't read that before...and wow dave, thats impressive, lengths and all

Softer -> stiffer (BCs would fit in between MSP and Seths I think). Take your pick...

Bridge (98), Mojo 90 (89), Big Trouble (92), MSP (~92), Seth (98), ARV (~92).

Scott Punishers too (89mm). Don't go too fat unless you want to compromise in the park.

i bought some epoxy, but from past experience/conversations with other people, the epoxy doesn't substitute a good sidewall and won't hold the edge in
