Blake.P Active member Jul 24, 2010 #2 Wax them on your own if you can. It will help protect the bases and it will be a better wax

BWalmer Active member Staff member Jul 24, 2010 #5 Especially with the Afterbangs you should get the factory wax off and put on new wax, and if you have the extra cash I'd recommend a base grind and wax...those bases are annoyingly slow at times.
