Pre-Season at Timberline

Does anyone know if timberline leaves rails and boxes and shit out that someone could setup, real sneakishly if need be. They have like two feet of snow, get really anxious

and would anybody be down to try with me?

Well it's raining now so don't try it until the weather gets better, and check for the car battery I hooked to the rails before grabbing them...ouch!

Also it's really frustrating when you guys drag our stuff (which we just regrinded and painted) out on the hill. Then I have to go haul it back to the pile, literally everyday if we're not open. It gets old fast. And also sometimes I don't have time to watch for what you have drug out into the middle of the run and I don't put it away in time, then it dumps and our cat drives run over a buried box that cost $1500 in the middle of the run. Which is what happened last year, it just ends up taking more away from what we are trying to do which is get more usable features out on the hill for you guys.

How bout this, next time you leave your golf clubs or better yet your skis in the back of your truck or on your rack unlocked, I'm going to just help myself to them, maybe use them for the day and then leave them in the parking lot. That should be a fair trade eh?

would it really be a big deal if some kids just set up some little boxes or something? I mean, all the rails are just lying around. Yeah, its trespassing and all that shit, but i don't think anyone is going to drag rails way out of the way. And if not rails, does timberline care if people make jumps or tree jibs preseason?

pre season we are not really concerned about jump building or tree jibbing. But yes it is an issue if you try to use the rails. There are plenty of little things to do if you go out and explore the area. All the little canyons are super fun, and there are plenty of things to jib without using the rails. And just be smart go out of sight of the nearest building and no one is going to care what your doing. Once the lifts are turning or if you build something in plain sight we will ask you to remove it.

What ponyboy is saying is dead on correct; the best way to look at moving jibs is, the more you drag out, the more people, ponyboy or myself at bachelor, have to deal with what you claim you will move back. This in turn means that most likely one or more new features will fail to be fabricated. Also it makes the season generally less fun for everyone, and fewer features that are out during the season.
