Practicing in Powder (East Coasters)

so if any of you are like me and want to throw tricks in pow before you try a dub onto ice.. any where you guys know of to practice tricks out here on the EAST that you can set up some boaters and launch into pow?

If a mountain near you has an airbag definitely go there. I know Blue Mountain in PA has one and they do allow inverts. Even if its too small to land a double, you could get used to the feeling of ducking the second time at least?

go to a mountain with an airbag for sure. if not, try to go to a water ramp or just get the general feel of doing dubs with skis on by strapping ankle weights to ur feet while jumping on a tramp. or u could just build up snow (not packed) into the landing of a booter or something

Your best bet is to wait for spring or a day we have a pretty huge snowfall. Idk where you ski but anywhere south of VT for the most part wont have any areas or jumps to do this.

Just wait till spring perfect your tricks all winter and when it comes to spring and nice and soft with a good snowpack just throw that extra tuck

Sometimes I watch powder videos of the West coast and I cry because I live in mass. But they aren't normal tears. They are icy tears with long lift lines
