mmk, I just never really payed much attention. I don't get into member business, I'm here to learn about what's going on with skiing and such, like news. This is like a website cult, whatever.
 
haha! you're only offending yourself with that ugly-ass icon. so if you really want to, i say keep it! it's pathetic.
 
Hmm...I am actually going to agree. They take their cult a little bit too seriously but if that's what they want to do no one can really stop them. And anyways, you don't need to be in the PPP for any real reason...their are cults with just as chill atmospheres...
 
liek the blackwatch? seriosuly though, nothing special about the PPP... it's just some members who get along. There are a few who are big names and have been here since the beginning and thats where the "elite" rep comes from
 
PPP's more about being shibby and chill than anything elite. I speak for myself, but I think it's that the PPP'ers just like to have fun, and NS is part of the entertainment.

Ok, we seriously need a "What is the PPP?" answer in the site FAQ.

And don't worry about offending the Phunkin Phatt Phreeriders, if any member of the PPP ever gots unshibby [that's Timmish (that's PPP-talk) for uncool], they transform into non-PPP. Then when they chill out they change back to PPP. It's not really a group so much as chill and loving (that is to say; non-flaming) state of mind.

Hopefully that cleared up what the PPP is, and really, if you want to use the Icon, I personally have nothing against it, but some people do, so its up to you man. But basically having a PPP icon means that you represent the PPP, which is a force for shibbiness is this wicked minting online ski community, so wear it proud and do it proud.

In other words... don't flame.
 
I don't really care, I just don't understand why anyone would deliberately want to make himself look like an e-poser... It's probably better that you just don't use it.

Do you brag in real life about how you are are part of the most elite group on a skiing website?

if so,

does it impress people?
 
I know alot of people bitch about how ns used to be...but this is a perfectly valid reason on why I miss the old ns...we used to be a community, we would share discussion with eachother...we would find humor in eachothers posts...we wouldn't bash people for no reason...we wouldn't keep discussion exclusive to a "group." We need to realize that we are skiers...we are the future of our sport, we need to stick together, not seperate like junior high school...
