so i borrow my friend's car (civic) to go to town and do a few things. i pull into the post office and literally every spot is taken besides one spot wayy off in the corner so i go park there.

i go in the post office and literally 30 seconds later i come out and lo and behold a 50-60 yr old woman just comes up to me and is like "is that your car" i'm like "no but i'm driving it, you want me to move it?" shes like "no i bumped it"

she backed into my friend's car while it was parked.

the lady lights up a cigarette and goes and sits in her car.

cop comes and all that bullshit, now i'll probably end up paying for some bullshit car insurance bill or down payment.

/rant

at least its ski for free day at my hill tonight...

was it an old asian lady? cuz i think she hit my friends car too the other day. or maybe it was another old asian lady... who knows.

it pisses me off how if there is a hint of snow or rain people drive like they have no idea what they are doing.

i was behind a string of over 100 cars the other day, it snowed, there were two clear tracks on the road, everywhere else was less than an inch. and there it is, a 4x4 JEEP. A FUCKING JEEP was going 15 miles an hour holding up over 100 vehicles.

just get off the FUCKING ROAD!?!?!!!

I absolutely hate it when cars drive in the fast lane but they go below the speed limit. It happens every time I head out to the hill. Plus its during rush hour which makes it double worse.

just finished drivers ed a month ago. there was a girl who could not drive forwardor backward in a staight line, and she got her permit. there was a kid who got 1/50 on the writen test, and he could not get out of the parking lot, and he passed with ease. there is something wrong with that, something really wrong...

haahah that is funny, god speed on those poor souls.

on the contrary to that story my friend who drives really good took the test and passed perfectly, but then failed the eye exam after so he had to get one contact for an eye and re-apply for the test haha

My problem is that it is WAY too easy to get a drivers license. Its set up to be a god given right. Life, Liberty, the persuit of hapiness*

*this may include being a terrible driver.

And not to sound like a racist asshole, but I have some racist asshole shit to say. If you grew up in this country, then chances are you rode shotty on all the roads that you now drive on for a solid 15 years as a kid, you know where shit is, you've seen it done a million times, you may suck at driving for the first couple years, but eventually you get the hang of it. Immigrants, do not have this advantage. And yet, its just as easy for them to get a drivers license. I mean for fucks sake, get these people off the road until they prove they are at least capable of using the gas pedal and a turn signal at the same time!

/end rant.

I've always maintained that driving tests need to be significantly harder. These days any paste eating retard (read: 16 year-old) can get a license to drive. Furthermore, people with a license should be forced to get re-tested every 10 years or so. Unfortunately the re-testing option is not at all feasible and the government really does have has more important things to do. So I'm just going with the option of making tests more difficult than the current criteria witch basically requires you to be able to breathe.

Do cars not exist outside this country? I must need to travel more.

You give kids waaaaaaaay to much credit behind the wheel. Most of them are incompetent. In fact, I think my college needs to add two courses to their Gen Ed curriculum:

Auto 101: How to Fucking Park Your Car Strait

Auto 201: How to Reach 2 Inches with Your Right Hand to Use the Fucking Turn Signal

Yes! they do.

this morning my schools parking lots was covered in a light dusting of snow, but nothing ridiculous. a teacher comes in and parks her minivan. but not in between the STILL VISIBLE lines, and no not even in two spaces. she parked in FOUR SPACES. FOUR. basically right in the middle of them, at the worst spot. it was made even more painfully obvious when students began to park around her with no problems, leaving her room to do her own thing. why didnt I take a picture?!

Okay, well maybe i'll revise my sweeping generalizations a little bit:

Kids: Afraid of Brake, attention span too short to go speed limit or wait in a line of cars, Literal 50/50 split of watching road vs. ipod, feel the need to show us all how driving is done by making erratic passes and unnecessary lane changes.

Immigrants: Afraid of Gas Pedal, Unsure of right of way, when in doubt come to complete stop in middle of the road while deciding the proper course of action, look foward while backing out of parking spaces and drive away without ever seeing that you almost hit them.

the problem is that soem people just shoudnt be long behind the wheel it is to dangerous. like btich about kids driving and all but a great amount of young kids are great drivers. there is this one girl at my school i ended up following her in her drivers ed car shes a fucken senior was going 25 in a 55 apparently passed watever she was doing its bullshit. people should be trained to drive at the speed limit unless the road conditions or weather permit.
