In another thread a picture was posted of 9/11 and hoodratz said that there were few pictures as powerful as that of the World Trade Centers. That got me thinking as to what the most instantly recognizable or powerful pictures throughout history were. I'll start with a couple and ppl can post up whatever they think of.

sorry for the sports ones, but they are definitely powerful pictures and evoke feelings for sure

great thread idea btw

if i may be clear on my statement.. that picture is of death. horrible death. regardless on who was responsible. i know for a fact that not a human on this earth could look at that picture and feel and equal level of emotion. regardless what that emotion is linked to.

fyi he was also the first black president in america, i think it's a pretty powerful and important moment in history for a lot of people.

thats an incredibly powerful picture glad you posted it..i actually got chills just from looking at it
its amazing they have guarded that tomb 24hrs a days 7 days a weeks since 1937

you should watch the documentary. it's pretty fucked up, and hearing a french person telling a native to get out of his country, is pretty shameful.

yeah ive done a tiny bit of reading on it including the wiki article. i was just curious cause it seems like the mohawks had a pretty good case and was wondering how canadians felt/were taught to feel about it
