power mac G5

ha i was just talking about this in another forum. mabe this is a break through for mac? i hate macs, but it would be great if there was another option for a good computer...

 
Macs have been good computers for awhile dude. Infact the G5 destroys any PC out there today. It has a 64-bit processor, the first in any personal computer. Thats compared to a 32-bit on any recent PC. The only thing that Macs need to get more customers are games. Not many families will buy a mac because the kids want to play games and they can't on a mac. But in processing power the Mac owns PC's.

forgot to say, did you know they cheated on the speed tests? they used a special unrelesed version of osx with certain settings disabled. and they used somethn else. when i find the link ill post it, its funny.

 
the only reason the g5 is faster than a p4 is because of the 64 bit processor. in 2 months when the comp ships then there will be a new operating system out to handle it and there will be new pentiums and whatnot.

those of you who actually know about compuers read slashdot, and toms hardware, and they did cheat how is it not cheating when you optimize the programs for the mac and choose not to enable any optimizations for testing on the pc! all a mac is, is a glorified vase. hey look my computer looks so cool and modern, you fucking yuppy piece of shit. now if you have a mac and run linux on it then i have respect for you and your mac

ive always known mac was best i just think their new computer is awesome i have macs and pcs at my house but macs are the best and by the way that article is bullshit mac is the best and always will be

the computer is fucking mad!! i want one so bad, and macs own all. Lets look at this from a different angle, who would with in a fight, Steve Jobes(CEO of Apple) or Bill Gates(CEO of Microsoft)?

actually you can upgrade an imac...yes even the G4s..I've done it...plus macs are so incredibly easier to use than pc and take up so much less space and look so much cooler...and I found a software that allows you to play PC games on mac os...ony 60$ plus had like 10 games...or you could pirate virtualPC for free

and the cost factor...I've found that imacs are the cheapest computer around....try to build a superdrive G4 imac comparable computer on any PC site, i.e. dell, gateway, and it'll cost you around 1,000$ more
