Powder

There was 6 inches of fresh snow today

and I absolutely hated skiing in it! I don't know what it was, but I love skiing

when it's almost icy out, but still powdery.

Am I the only one?

the thing is that you ski 6 inches of powder almost like a groomer, its not like skiing powder. or are you trying to pass off powder as super wet shit that all of the flatties talk about on the lifts to me and say how great and powdery it is when it defiiatly isn't. But seriously, if you don't know how to ski powder its quite reasonible to say that you hate it.

yeah powder totally sucks, its so bad, id rather ski ice and rocks, much more fun, and dropping cliffs into powder, thats just rediculous, i mean hard pack is a way nicer landing

definitely

but it might have still been a serious question

and for an answer......it was probably just wet snow...if you've ever skied in waist deep fluff, you'll never wanna ski park again or any of that

oh tell me about it i love dropping cliffs onto hard pack. i also love the sound of my skis scraping

against the ice

There is nothing better than skiing a few feet of powder where you are just floating and have no contact with the base. Its so soft and fluffy, and you cant explain it to someone who hasnt skied something like that

jeaa..this year i skied my first real knee to waist deep powder over the break and havent had as much fun in my life. Yet my snowboarder friend that was with me is still saying he would rather ride groomers and our tiny park

yah i havent skied powder alot in my day but when i have its probably the best feeling ive ever had in my life

skiing was invented to ski on snow. POWDER = SNOW. that's my 2 cents. How could you not like skiing in powder? Ice is what cocktails are for....
