Powder Vs. Park

actually i am pretty sure Utah and Colorado get way better snow than we ever did in Europe so i don't see your point...

Its like if you are a skateboarder and you choose either the skatepark or urban riding. The skatepark on one hand is made for skateboarding, it has all the features that are fun to ride in the urban areas except its all compact into one. Urban skating on the other hand is the heart of skating. its what skateparks copy. In urban, you deal with nails sticking out of shit, cracks in the cement, sketchy landings, sketchy in runs, and so on. This makes it real. And a cool thing about it is that you can bring out your creativity with the rail/hip/ect. and makeup sick lines and tricks to do.

Its the same thing with skiing. If you go backcountry and powder skiing, your skiing the untamed territories. Theres nothing limiting you unlike tabletops in the park that you have to land only a certain distance or you overshoot.

I say make your own kickers to your specifications and size. Landing in powder is a lot better feeling anyways.

Like park is something that is rewarding while powder is just pure fun. In the park it isn't allways fun but when you stomp a trick it is better than powder, but when you are crashing or can't get the trick it is crap.

i would definetley ski pow cause the deepest snow ive skied is like 15cm. east coast sucks for skiing

if you roll in the east park is pretty much all you can ride but pow is deffinitely more fun when its available but on a daily basis park is where im at

Park park park park park park park park park park, I like it cause I'm a skateboarder, you can throw together lines and stuff, keep going and tricking.

But if it snows you haffta go ski the pow. You can't ski the park anyways... unless there's a super fun rail or something.

Park since there never is any powder at my mountains. Powder is something i make fun ski trips for not my daily routine. Park City Utah over i think it was Sweeden or Switzerland

if i lived somewhere that got good powder consistantly probably 85-90 percent of the time i would still rather do park. the only time i wouldnt do park is if it snows too much and you cant get any speed for jumps. then thats a day for powder

Well seeing im an EC park rat. whose mountian never gets an inch if powder id have to say park cause i hardly ever ski powder. i was looking forward to i when i went to utah last year but it was really hot and no pow to be found. dagger

i havent honestly. ive never actually even skiied backcountry in my life. ive only skied in new jersey, ny, and pa. i went to whistler once and that was in the summer. i love park

when theres is pow i consider the whole mountain a park, just jump, jib, and do eerything. just have fun with what you do

actually its not a choice, best line ever... big pow day and at the end of your line you pass trough the park and back to the lift into powder... i've done that and its the sickest thing ever...

there are few powder days, and the park is open all year so... i think i'd choose powder

pow in the park! then u get fresh turns then u can try stuff youve never landed cuz its a soft landing. youll hafta really pump for speed tho it can bge alil slow

thats not even a question powder is amazing why would you ski park on a powder day? Ive seen kids doing that and they look like retards

if i had a choice of pow or park it would always be pow. I never get any of it on the east coast and whenever i go to vail it never snows, snow gods hate me
