not really what im looking for, i was thing like a vest to replace a back for out of bounds schnanigans. +k tho
 
I have an Ogio Flak Jacket. Love it.

Holds my shovel, probe, spare goggles, sammich, camera, a hydration bladder, and I can strap my skis on it. Plus it keeps me warm too.
 
useful but pretty bulky/uncomfortable and space is limited. I've found I can fit everything I need into my backpack with room to spare without the need for a vest.
 
the idea is for the vest to replace a pack and keep everything in a more organized, easier to access and compact space.
 
When I was in Sturtevant's a few weeks back, they had The North Face vest in stock. May be easier for you to just drop in and check it out.
 
Ya I know I don't wear the pack along with the vest. But I find the vest to be too small, less comfortable, and bulkier than using just a pack.
 
im pretty sure that vest is meant to be a utility item, not a piece of really functional outerwear. Like sure it will repel water but you'll have to wear a shell under it in pow.
