Powder Ski length recommendation

Hello people of newschoolers,

Im looking at grabbing a pair of the ARV 116s but not sure whether to get the 185cm or the 192cm. Im 6ft 2 (188cm) and could use some advice here coz ive never got any pow skis before,

The 192 isn't even big for you at all.

Either would probably be fine depending on what/where you ride. I'm about the same size and I have the same ski in a 185 and love it for anything under 2 ish feet of fresh. I have gone back and forth between these same sizes a bunch over my ski career and I feel that I can sacrifice a little float/stability for the increase playfulness of the 185. That said, if you are more of a big mountain dude than a jibber get the 192.

192 for sure, especially with the Freeride rocker it will make the ski feel shorter than it is for tight work in the trees or rock chutes etc.

192 will fit ya. Im also 6'2 and my range for powder if 185-190.

Side note. I’m also, 6’2 and rock my 192 caylors rather frequently all over the mountain, pow day or not.

if you are 6'2 then get something around 145 cm. you want pow skis to be at your chest or maybe shorter

Sounds too long to me. The guys at REI told me I shouldn't get anything that goes up past my knees
