Powder Ridge

I know I'm prolly gonna get flamed or spammed or any of that good stuff for even mentioning it, but does anyone here ride Powder Ridge? Looking through the other posts w/ the search, the latest one I see is, like, 2003. Theres gotta be some guys out there riding. I know its nothing amazing, but it isn't a pit. If anyone local does hit it up at all, lemme know.

Powder ridge lost all credibility last year when they took away snow tubing to put in 'the Gnarly' terrain park...problem is that they never took care of ANYTHING. just a couple of poorly mounted crooked boxes and random mounds of snow they called jumps that were never groomed to be useful or safe. we spend money to ski...might as well spend it somwhere that obviously wants our business.

Yea, not a smart move. I half killed myself on one of those mounds. There IS a reason behind that, though. They made the gnarly park cause they couldn't obtain the permits and all that for liability for tubing because the public regulations had changed, so they were trying to make due with what they had. This year is better though- and I ride for free cause I'm an instructor, but if anyone does plan to hit it up (ther terrain park hasn't been horrible) then let me know.

i learned how to ride park there for teh first time last year. i'm now in tahoe and can do disasters and 270 out. much respect midwest.

With some work...and people that know waht they are doing and are willing to work it has potential. There are so many rails that never get put out. If I ruled Powder Ridge it would be sick

I was thinking that yesterday. I wanna buy PR and turn it into an all park MTN. Like a mini Bear Mountain. Would be sick. Too Bad Im only 16
