Powder Ridge

Ha thats pretty tight. I rode powder ridge like 12 years ago when they pushed their entire park with one shitty cat, had a super undervert pipe and a handful of rails. Good to hear they're reopening.

This has huge potential. It's a really good business plan combining PR and Brownstone together. I ski at Southington for free, but I would be down to hit up the ridge and check it out.

Thats so sick. I'm going to be in college shredding in VT or Colorado probably by the time this opens, but I'll hit it up on vacations.

So Does anyone have an update on this? Its less than an hour from me and i would love something worth going to to pop back up here.

although that would be extremely awesome for CT to run even more shit, i wouldn't count on it. here's why:

several years ago, brownstone park promised a "sick, extreme sports" cable park for wakeboarding, etc. the opening day came, they had winches and pretty much nothing. perhaps insurance reasons, but i don't really care. promised. didn't deliver. now i think they still have their winches in the summer, but it's not a cable park, not even close.

and how long did that take after they first claimed it..?

gonna go ahead and say bout 3-4 years, because i remember being at the "grand opening" and wanting to drown myself in the quarry
