Powder Ridge Opening 2013/2014

For all you CT skier that live nowhere near any mountains, there is some potential that Powder Ridge opens next season. There is also rumors that it's focus would be park orientated. This would be pretty sick, I hope it works out this time. Any one have thoughts or better info? Btw anyone who doesn't know Powder Ridge, it was a small mountain in Middlefield, Ct that closed a few years ago. From what I remember it was pretty fun, but I was a tiny ripper back then.

http://www.facebook.com/PowderRidgePark?fref=ts heres the facebook they do some updates here... anyways real hyped for this its like 20 mins from my house tops, also the only downside is that when thhey shut it down they were gonna build a waterpark and they built the cement foundation which is sick and fun as fuck to skate... which will probably be hard to do and monitored a lot better now
 
I'm not even thinking about going until they fix the lifts...the guy expects them to just turn on after all this time...dumb.

It's the guy who owns Brownstone Quarry, he is focusing on park, but isn't really thinking about how to run the place...the snowmaking system is ancient, the lifts haven't run in years...there's a whole lot of work that needs to go into it. Plus, as Whaleback has recently proven, have a mountain with basically a sole focus on parks isn't the greatest business plan...but we'll see.
