I started getting into touring end of the 09/10 season. I have saved and am investing in as good/light weight of a setup as I can get my hands on. At 115lbs, the lighter the gear the better. Those are about as light as it gets and they are made in my size. I don't have the bindings yet because I'm not getting them unless I can get the boots. I had money last january and was hoping to locate some, but I couldn't. I'm a buy good, buy once person. I may not do any 14'ers this year, but I do plan on exploring the sierras this winter.
So in all seriousness, if you see them in smaller sizes in Utah, I'd really like to know.
 
It's all a front so that I can attract a mountaineering husband and then he can show me the way. Then when we get home, I'll make him a sandwich in my bikini and make sure the fridge is filled with a lovely array of microbrews. I can't wait to be shown how to really ski. Hopefully when I meet a man that can show me the way, I'll already have the gear I need because certainly, a true mountain man needs to be financially supported by his wife.

Bump for the fact that surface donated a grip of skis to the Freinds of the Utah Avalalanche Centers Silent auction last season and hopefully will do again

Local companies giving back to the essential local non for profit org that helps keep bc skiers from becoming statistics = So full of win

There skis are not what I personally like to ski and Ive tried them at their many FREE B right On demos and Im not even going into the delam butthurt Big spence thing

I used to like looking at the buyers guides with all their reviews but now i'm realizing its a bunch of bs. Like compare last years freeskier buyers guide to this years. There are bunch of skis that are almost unchanged except for the graphic but they have entirely different ratings from year to year...

matter of perspective, not the more money better review part, but ad's with other sports are an exponential amount more than 20k. just business if you're a company that has an extra 20k to throw around you might aswell or you could put it into R&D and make the product better like surface, not that they're rollin' in greenbacks, has obviously chosen since there skis are the best things out right now
