2+ Feet of it today at Berthoud Pass; gettin face shots and fresh tracks all day..... stoked we finally got a big storm!! Everyone keep the stoke going here, this season is gonna be sick!!
 
Seriously, it's sick right now. So long as we don't get one of those dry/heat spells again we will have a sick season.
 
yeah this is the perfect time to go to loveland or berthoud if you really want to get fucked over in an avalanche. wait awhile till you know its more stable or stick to super safe places.
 
hahahaha word, but every year CO is full of people especially in the early season who are new resort employees or CU freshmen who have maybe never lived anywhere with serious avalanche danger, so they dont understand the risks and they get excited that it's the beginning of the season so they go get themselves in trouble.
 
ha i know i dont have a good understanding of avy's, but you know theres gonna be a shit ton of people out there not knowing what the hell they are doing. i know enough to know that this is a pretty bad time to go if you dont really know what your doing.
 
Because too many fucktarts do too many stupid things for me to assume that anyone but myself and the people I ride bc with have a clue! And, when it comes to things that could impact lives, it's ok to assume a lack of knowledge.
 
ahhhh i've been loving this soo much. great times here at vail! it just started dumping again (tuesday night), about an hour ago, and it's puking. tomorrow will be sick!
