i have a pair of kung fujas but i am looking for something that can shred the pow. i was thinking hellbent or chopstick, but anyone got any suggestions? i am 5-8, 135, and expert skier. i like to drop cliffs and wouldnt take them on groomers much at all or in the park

A little more info would help. So far I could basically suggest any pow ski by any brand. See if you can add more info, or see if you can get out and demo some different pow skis, then tell us which ones you like/hate/etc.

The new Salomon Rocker 2s look dirtyyyyy, definitely a great pow/charging ski.
Otherwise for an all-around pow/groomer mix get the JJs. Best all-mountain ski ever, and it is so versatile.

i dont like chopsticks, too much tail girth to push down. if your not gonna be doin any groomers or shit, go on the fatter side, it really makes a difference. depending on what kinda skiing you will be doing; if u will be bc jibbing or playing in the pow, check out ep pro's or hellbents. if you will be in trees and deep pow/ pillows etc, look at ARG's, caylors or chetlers. if you are gonna be up on the big mountain terrain, rocker2's look dope and icelantic gypsy's are gonna be sick, super stable off cliffs and at high speeds, yet a ton of rocker and a ton of float along with being super playful in the trees. /longpost

180 cm rocker 2 have 115mm underdoot and the 184 have 122mm underfoot. From the review i read, they are very good. Im selling my JJ's to buy some rocker2

i have tried the rocker 2s and they were too floppy for me, and the obsethed for next year(same as this year, different graphic) felt really stiff. anyone know something in between?

I have been riding the Rocker 2's since last December, there alot of fun. I have mine center mounted which makes them really playfull, but if you are looking for a big mountain ski somthing like +3 would be better so you have more nose. I have the 184 which as said are 122mm underfoot. Depending how wide you want maybe look at the 180 which are narrower. They are really lite in swingweight thanks to the honeycomb tip and tail and the lack of edges on the tips and tails make them easy to ski when you have to come down the groomers. Other pow skis I have owned are original Rossi Scrath BC, Ninthward THA and the aramada ARG. The rocker 2's are my fav of the 4, and they are alot of fun.

Hope this helps some
