looking to step up my width from my s3s from last year. i want the 2011 rockered SFBs or 2011 obsethed, but because of the cost, i wanna look into similar skis from this or last season.im looking for a light, rockered pow ski, preferably with a bit of camber, 105-110 waist, 170-175cm lengh, that I can still flex and butter at 5'10' 135lbs, but it has to still be able to charge and staightline. I would still like to be able to spin the occasional lap in the park too. my ability: compferable on 20ft cliffs and medium straightlines, have done 35 footers and larger chutes and coulours. will be used for pow days in the PNW. was thinking something like the CRJ, surface live life 2, salomon czars. whats your opinion on those skis, and any others you guys recommend?
sparknotes: suggest a rocked, light, softer pow ski.

at 5"10 id go bigger than 170-175 cm for a pow ski,
id look into 180-185 cm skis
the atomic blog in a 185 seems like the perfect ski for you. smooth flex in the tips and tails, but stiff underfoot, early rise in tip and tail and 110? underfoot i believe.if your looking into something more traditional, then what about the nordica zeros? not rockered, but moderately flexy for buttering.

yeah im thinking of going a bit shorter cuz i do alot of quick spins off pillows and tight chutes and trees, so im willing to sacrifice the stability for manuverability

im the same height and weight as you and i use 189 LL2's, 170-175 is going to be way to small and they wont support your size at all

the CRJ's fit that description exactly. i have them and fuckin love 'em. pm me if you want more info.

It's a little wider than what you asked for (118mm vs. 105-110), but I would look into the 174 Bibby Pro. Given the weights of the 184 and 190 lengths, the 174 should weigh about 8.2 lbs which is pretty damn light for its size.

The length is more to provide flotation...which you will need if you're hitting pillows and landing in deep. If they're too short, you'll just sink right in upon impact.

aren't s5 or s7's rockered with a bit a camber, and have similar dimensions?? i'm almost certain i demoed something similar last season... pretty sure it was the rossi s7
