so im looking into buying some new pow skis and i was wondering which ones to get? i was lookin at...

Armada: ANT's and JP vs Julien

Line: Prophet's

Volkl

Those are just what im looking at. Anyone have any suggestions. and yes ive search bar'd and didnt find what i was looking for. Just wondering what everyone else's pow skis are? And if anyone can direct me towards the right ones

jp vrs julien is way softer then the ants and is made mroe for inbounds powder while the ant is more alaska pwoder where u need a realy stiff ski. Prohets are realys stiff to as well as most volks. deppneds what u mean by powder, freestly powder like bc booters or 55 degree ak line powder, and how much u weigh

I'd check out the ANT's, Gotamas, and Pimps if I was you. Out of those three my favorite is the Pimps because they are just amazing to ride, but it all depends on how/what you ski.

volkl mantras! ive heard so many good reviews abuot them...they do great on and off piste, nice and flotacious

Too much sidecut, they tried to replace the Explosiv but ended up with an old person ski. With Volkl you either have to get the Gotamas or, if you ski really deep snow, the Sumos.

get the prophet 130, not only is it a great pow ski but it's awesome all mountain too (sarcasm)

I love my Mantra's mounted 1.5cm back from the line (makes a huge difference in how it skis)

super stable, able to carve hardpack, a great all around ski, especially for Tahoe where we get Sierra cement and long periods in between storms

the sidecut works because it doesn't flare in the tail which would make it hooky, instead, it starts wide and just tapers back (same shape as the Pontoons)

it's an awesome ski

really depends. For big lines and going fast ants.

For soft pow Jp vs Julien. Its great in pow but still sick for big lines. Plus its light. im picking up a pair this winter.
