Pow skis stiff of flexy? i need to know

im looking at fat pow skies and im wondering what is better for having a bunch of fun. stiff skis or flexy skis? im the type of skier who loves to find epic lines and skis trees.

what type of ski am i?
 
personally i loike softer skis

they are more playful asswell for butters and other stuff.

but thtast my opinion
 
...youre the type of skier who is into two entirely different things.

'epic lines', assuming you mean bc charging, would merit a long (190+cm), stiff directional ski, something that is gonna be super stable and allow you to rip super g turns at high speeds.

tree skiing would likely mean a shorter ski, and probably something softer to make it easier to maneuver your way through tight tree lines and make it easier to jump yer turns around.

which one are you more into, or are you looking for something that might be adequate for both?
 
i prefer stiffer skis in general because the type of skiing i do is more charging than fucking around. that being said i love my hellbents which are soft
 
atomic is coming out with a new ski for next season called the blog...115mm underfoot, 10mm tip/tail rocker, and super stable at speeds, even on hard snow. if youre willing to wait, itd definitely be something worth looking into. i gotta plug atomic first!

otherwise, obseths or something of the like would definitely be a good pick...good in the deep snow and stable enough to rip on.

otherwise, something 100+ underfoot, twin, not fully rockered for better stability at speed, but the tip/tail rocker idea is definitely a lot of fun in trees and lower-angle deep stuff.
 
maybe consider jj's, they're stiff underfoot, rockered, and stable at high speeds but they turn incredibly fast and have soft tips and tails for tree skiing
