So im looking to buy the best pow skis (and size) for me, ill make this thread short and sweet so more people will read. Im 5' 4" and i weigh 110 lbs. i ski the northwest (washington mostly) so the snow is generally 8-12 inches when we get a good snow, it tends to get crusty sometimes though. im a good skier who loves to huck cliff from 20-30 ft and i throw tricks. im an average skier (NS skier) very good in pow too.

whats pow skis should i get (and what size)? key facts to keep in mind:

1. 110 lbs

2. 5' 4"

3. good skier

4. likes cliffs and tricks

5. generally skiing 8-12 inches of powder, sometimes its heavy.

Surface just made a rockered junior pow ski. You are probably too big for that though. How old are you?

i thought you wanted a good pow ski?

k, sooo im from washington too, and id buy a bent if i was you.

if you want an all mtn ski that can shred pow id buy the volkl bridge, its ill as shit.

well you will probably grow a bit so I would go with a ski around the 170 range like said above. The bent chetlers kill it in the pow and so do the hellbents.

i do, i just also want something that can do other stuff so that when its powder at the top and crap down low my day doesnt suck, ya know?

also what is your guys opinions on 171 jjs?

thats what i really want, but theyre so hard to find at non-fullprice

also if anyone has skis they wana sell me feel free to hit me up with an offer

I work at a local ski shop I could probably hook you up with some 175 JJs PM me the price youd like and Ill see what i can do.
But if I had to throw my 2 cents in Id go with Salomon Czars they rock everywhere!
