Pow not park

What a stupid thread. Skiers turning against skiers, Nicee. Way to encourage more hate on this site!!

I'm sorry, my intentions weren't to cause hate. But I think we can conclude that we should all be skiing powder unless it isn't an option.

I didnt read the last pages but I have skid almost everywhere in the West Coast and every state basically has different powder feelings all creating new and different yet amazing face shots. Until someone has skid Haines Alaska or Valdez Alaska I dont think you can truly understand what powder skiing unending untouched lines with the most incredible views ever.

I just got back from an epic day of pow/tree skiing not too long ago. Its just something about skiing deep untouched pow in the trees that is a beautiful thing of its own.

Well you can't always ski pow it isn't always snowing. So how bout you ski park then when you get a storm ski pow. Best of both worlds.

Id ski shitty wind fucked packed powder with tracked out landings for the rest of my life if Im never asked this question again.

I'd say powder. Thing is, I've only skied it once out of my entire 3 years of skiing. Fucking southeast is lucky to get snow, let alone powder.

I skied it at Snowmass 3 years ago, and honestly, I didn't like it, but that was literally my 5th time skiing, so basically I wasn't ready for it, fell every 20 feet, and got all kinds of the fluffy stuff up my sleeves. I'm heading out west again this year so hopefully I'll get to ski it again, and I'm going to force myself to like it. Haha.

Also, from what I've read, I know my Walls are decent in powder, but is it worth demoing some old Bridges or something for the pow? And I don't know much about powder skis, so please let me know if there's a pair you think I should rent for the day. Thanks.

If it's just a couple inches, don't bother, but if it's a foot or more of pow on the ground, get you some nice wide, long, rockered skis for the day. I love my Line EPPs to death and highly recommend them, but if you're going to be hucking cliffs bigger than 25-35 feet, get something stiffer and longer, maybe something like 190+ Seths if the make them.

why descriminate. Tree stashes in the morning followed by fat carves down groomers, to lapping the park. I just love to ski.
