Pow/Back country skis in the park?

Don't know if this has been asked here before, but is it possible?I've seen it at my local hill and in a video or two, so I'm wondering if its going to be the hip new thing

Some people like having wider skis in the park, the only real inconvenient is that they'll probs be heavier. I ride faction's prodigy (130-101-128) and i love them in the park, completly fine on boxes/rails. Then again its all down to personnal preferences.
