Good thing you learned so much from it, sucks you needed this to happen before you learned those things!

That sounds hard, but I hope others will understand to get some real knowledge about avys,weather,etc etc before they go in the backcountry..

Get well and make some nice trips next season, chase pow so you dont need that last pow day in very risky conditions..

real dumb choice on his part if the Avy danger was a 2 the day before and he set off avalanches and then he went out the next day when the avy danger was raised and skied that line. shit happens tho glad he is ok
 
really? you decided to ski that line After setting off several other small slides? The slope looks even less supported where the big one happened, personally i would've avoided that hole face together after setting small ones off throughout the day. Great video though, good example.
 
That was pretty scary but very educational because you sometimes don't think about the real dangers when going off piste.
