Would anyone be at all down to show us around to some rails in calgary around Dec 9-12.We will be coming up with Dylan Curry, Sugar Dorszynski, and Zach Steele. And anyone who shows us around will have the opportunity to film with us...

You should go to the Fish Creek train station. There are some pretty legendary rails there, along with quite a few drops you could hit. I suck too much to hit urban rails but that is a popular spot for sure. You won't be able to find any snow in the area though, we're kind of lacking right now. Theres a rink a little ways away, I'll find out what its called. And if you guys are feeling extra enthusiastic, you could get up for the sunset, which is pretty epic at that station.
Theres tons of stuff in calgary though, you just need to find someone to show you where it all is.
Where are you guys heading from calgary?

theres a hugeeeeeee rail behind sunalta elementary just of 17th ave, its sick but ive never heard of it being cleaned

if you go to McMahon stadium they have some gnarly ass like 8 kink rails. ive been thinking how sick it would be for a skier to hit them for a while now

come to red deer if you want the most impossible rail ever, it's not even that high risk, it's just like an 80-100 foot curve rail with a section about 2/3s of the way down that you have to hop over

Thank you everyone for your responses so far. We really appreciate it.
In response to the comment about there not being snow up there, we are waiting on snowfall and are looking ahead at the weather and the patterns seem to change late this weekend into next week (temps dropp well below 0 celsius and snow in the forecast).
And we will be coming up from Oregon.
Thanks again for the responses. Keep them coming, and if you are interested in playing tour guide and having a chance to film with us, feel free to send us a message.

there are some decent rails at mount royal college, plus it would be a pretty dope place to shoot.

My bad, noticing indistinguishable sarcasm over the internet is quite impossible. Words that lack verbal emphasis require some sort extra sensory perception to perceive the acrimony. Unfortunately I don't have ample extra sensory perception capabilities, it's a shame though it would be quite cool to be able to sense low forms of wit over the internet.

I don't expect you to understand my feelings because you don't quite have the maturity or IQ.

Some say compassion is the final stage of personal development. In my opinion style, in it's finest sense, is the end of discovering one's self.

N-Wood if that's what you'd like to be called, it's too bad you have no compassion nor style because you're a talented skier. But talent can only get you so far. Notice that taking bits and pieces of personalities from those surrounding you have left you in an unfortunate position. Without much of a personality.

From those who have mentioned you around me there is a repeating trend about what people view you as. Shallow, empty.

Nathan, if you do end up reading all of this, I wish you the best of luck in your skiing career and I honestly hope you discover who you really are in life.

I'm gonna have to agree with this, although I will say I saw him do some pretty stylish tricks last year. Although you seem to have an over obsession with style, not just style as in grabs etc, but in fashion, attitude and other aspects of personality. I don't claim to know you very well, I think I talked to you one time last year, but from what I've seen you try very hard to be "different" but at the same time you're the biggest copycat I know

Dude, are you kidding me? fuck you. I have lived for skiing since i was three years old and my dad first took me to the mountains. you have no right to judge me on my compassion or style... like are you serious? you, questioning my style, come on kid. You think i havent worked to get where I am? im usually the last one to be done and take my gear off. BTW im happy as a clam so i dont get this "unfortunate position" shit, how am I unfortunate? I travel around the world with my friends and do what i love most, ski. just because i never talk to you or your crew of friends doesn't mean im a douche bag. you will never catch me hating on other kids or shit like that, i just have a tight knit group of friends and dont socialize other than that. Shallow? Empty? like what the fuck is that. you turned a thread into a reason to hate on me with shit you have obviously been wanting to say. Oh and andrew.. copycat? dope dude just because my best friend for the last four years who also happened to be the dude I rode with pretty much everyday influenced my style and hooked me up with some gear... doesn't really make me a copycat, everyone has to develop a style from somewhere,. Im not going to keep this going and hate back on you kids because I don't know you well enough to do so, and since you have probably said less than two words to me, maybe you should judge me yourself and not what other kids say.

haha the regional forum draaaammaaaa. n-wood had some stylie tricks last night on the downbox at cop.

Ive meat the kid and he is not legithe bites on everyones shitpretends to be on spider when hayward gave him a suitand is just out their to show offi was skiing and he never once let anyone go before him he wanted everyone to see his shitand wouldn't go when me and my friends purposely turned our headskids a bitch

Lets get back on topic.

I would also suggest going to COP if possible, there are some pretty gnar rails there, and you can always hit the mini pipe.

Ya, hayward did give me a suit, and i wore it, but i never claimed anything. so i guess wearing a sypder suit means im "pretending" to be on sypder. As for the show off aspect, kid im just laping the park, getting runs in, considering I have no reason to show off my shit to goons like you. theres no way i wouldnt drop in if people were not watching me, cuz frankly i dont give a shit about stuff like that.

hahaha I'm gonna have to agree with this.

And Nathan, I'm not trying to hate or anything, might have kinda sounded like that, but I had some good stuff to say in there too. Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm the last guy to hate, I respect the whole tight knit group thing, nothing wrong with that and best of luck this season, I do think your style tends to be like the people you ride with, I guess that's understandable though, definately pretty common amoung crews and stuff actually.

I gotta go though. I'd keep writing but the gf is waiting for me

i bet DOS media is super stoked tocome to calgary..
listen to panojibber!
it's just skiing guys, quit all this drama and who cares what your style is as long as you are happy with it.but that's is just my opinion.

If you guys do end up coming down you probably won't have to worry about snow anymore, we got like 20cms yesterday lol. The entire city is all white and epic looking.

haha noo shit eh?
cheif wood cock...you're calling someone out for being immature yet you're trying to negatively justify someone's lifestyle on newschoolers.
My bro Naewoo (or N-Wood) is chill as fuck, stop beakin' the kid cause he can ski. and has an orange name and you don't.Sorry, but I love the kid.
And please don't reply to my post in rebuttle.write something to do with dosmedia's topic.
i for one, have close to no knowledge about rails in calgary.so i'm not killing it in this thread either and i realize that.

BUT BREAK THE BABY TALK.

dont come here, i dont think you'd be happy if kids came to your town, and hit all your rails, thats not how it should work. go to somewhere you have friends

I have nothing against you Bobby.. but don't hate on kids, that my friend is immature..
But on topic, Calgary has some cool rails. But going to Vancouver or Nelson or somewhere else would be far better.. the cops in Calgary suck and will kick you out of everything. Also lots of the better rails unfortunately are now nubbed. The are tons in cochrane.. just outside of Calgary..
