yep up to 4 ounces and some plants in your home. this all goes back to 1975 with raven vs. the state of alaska where the state supream court rulled that it was legal to smoke pot and posses up to 26 plants in your home. raven still got fucked cuz he was driving when pot was in his car.

there are still federal laws and some drug dealer law that makes so u cant have more then 4 ounces. so i guess if ur cought at home with a 8th by a state trooper u should be fine, as long as he doesent report it to the dea or is on the dea drug task force.

When I said it didn't affect me, I was just implying that although I live in Alaska, I don't smoke pot so it doesn't really matter to me. I'm not really sure what the exact rules and whatnot are about the legal amount of pot in Alaska and who may own it or whatever. I guess it's going through the courts right now, though.

It may be legal by Alaska state law but its still against federal law...meaning if you are caught with it you can still be arrested. Especially if you have 4 ounces or the stuff.
