posting images in forums

OK, I know about the help stuff but I tried that for posting pics in forums. what I need is a word for word way to get it done and what the code means in the text. also so I need to have the site address have .jpg or seomthing at the end of it? if someone could please explain this in the simplest way possible that would be kickass!

right click picture -> properties -> copy address

-> type img src=(paste address) the img src is in bracket > except the only space is between img and src

ok people, heres how ya do it in simplist terms:

You need to ahve the web address for the picture. i.e the WHOLE addresss. this must end in .jpg or .gif. there are various others around but many browsers do not support them (such as .png)

Ok tog et the URL of the image you rivk click, go to properties and it comes up with info. The address is in that window.

Now you have that URL (copy n paste) you have to put it into a form that the Browser can undestand. If you leave it as
pic.jpg
it thinks that it is simply text. You must state that it is to translate the following URL as an image.

To do this we use this code:

pic.jpg

becasue there's a space between img and src I can't get them to stay on the same line in the post box, this is a real piss off!
