postin a pic in a thread

There's HTML guides around, but here's how...

&ltimg src=''http://www.url.com/url.jpg''&gt

Those are simple quotation marks around the URL.

-TAK, PPPhD

------------------------------------------------------------

''Independence is for the very few; it is a privilege of the strong. And whoever attempts it even with the best right but without inner constraint proves that he is probably not only strong, but also daring to the point of recklessness. He enters into a labyrinth, he multiplies a thousandfold the dangers which life brings with it in any case, not the least of which is that no one can see how and where he loses his way, becomes lonely, and is torn piecemeal by some minotaur of conscience. Supposing one like that comes to grief, this happens so far from the comprehension of men that they neither feel it nor sympathize. And he cannot go back any longer. Nor can he go back to the pity of men.'' -my buddy, Fred

''The possibility of physical and mental breakdown is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.'' -Raoul Duke, and his good friend, Mr.Jim Bean

Just type that in. A URL is the internet address of the image and usually end in ''.jpg'' or ''.gif''. To link a pick...

1)right click on the pic

2)go to ''Properties''

3)find the URL

4)highlight it

5)right click on it

6)copy it

7)type the following into the reply box at NS: &ltimg src=''''http://www.url.com/url.jpg''&gt

8)paste the image URL between the two quotation marks

9)That's it. If it doens't work, try it again and make sure everthing is typed properly.

Good luck.

^ ummm how does this not explain what to do??

How to post a picture in the forum or an article.

1.In the Newschoolers.com Forum you can use HTML so you just need to know a bit of code. It goes like:

2.You need to replace where it says address with the URL of the image you want to link to, don't forget to use the HTTP://

because you are trying to link to a picture in your email (i think) which isn't public

I tried to follow the link in Internet explorer and it wouldn't let me.

upload the pic onto NS Media, and use that URL
