Post your pole length and height, and fit.

its all personal preference, shops will tell you a certain way to mesure for the right size( flip the pole upside down, grab above the basket, and your arms should be 90 degrees(i think)) but i like my poles short so i dont use that way.

If you want a typical regular traditional fit I am 5'11 and the traditional length would be 50cm. I rock smaller though

i'm 5'11 i ride scott a.o.s in 46, i race with fuxi poles in 48 or 50, i'm not sure, and i ski bc on black diamond adjustable poles around 47

for park it dosnt matter but if you are actualy going around pole planting hold the pole upside down grab it under the basket with the top of your hand touching the bottom of the basket. your fore arm should be at about a 90 degree angle to your upper arm

I was just about to post a thread just like this... great minds think alike. IMO there isn't much point to long poles in the park... i rock mine about at my waist.

I'm curious, how long is everyone elses park/jib poles?

im able to put my arms straight so that the poles touch the ground. theyre tiny but not tiny enough to make it annoying in the lift lines

I'm 6' and mine are 49" if you include the grip in the length. They feel way too long for me, I only need the length for really steep stuff. In pow when I pole plant they still feel a little long. I'm thinking of getting some 40" pins for birthday/christmas. Or maybe just buy some kids poles myself.

grab below the basket actually as i was taught
i'm 6ft and i use 48" poles because i actually use them
i use 50" poles for racing
