I guess all be the first to say.....golf is the most frustrating sport ever and i hate it. Maybe its because i got kicked for doing donates in the cart.
Yeah well it's just a driver that I happened to hit better than a bunch of other ones that I demoed (Is that a word? LOL.). I had all used clubs. I never bought anything new, but all my clubs were eventually all custom for me with different shafts and the clubs angles. I loved my clubs and I plan on keeping them forever even though I quit, LOL. I hated practicing even though my average was 85. HAHA!
that was me last year i broke into th e 80's like 1/2 the time with a low of 84 i think
and to the kid who asked who can shoot 70's consistently ICEFIREOWNAGE on here shoots reallly low 80's and high to mid 70's he ahs shot par once i think.
i like how u slam people on here for saying dumb shit then you go off and say something like this..........you may no this kid and it could be an inside joke for all i know but if not whats ur deal?
im a 6 handicap so im usually around a 77-78 then i have my good days and bad. but im also goin to college for professional golf management to become a head pro
i just went to the range and was hitting everything great, took a break. hit again and couldn't even hit the damn ball. i figured out it was just a little grip problem but jesus it's amazing how something so small completely throws you off.
now a never comp blade style putter, and what ever balls i get at my new course i work at, as my prov supply ran out from my golfig skillz! possible new driver (G10 or something similar, gotta do some testing) mabye irons if i get money andd i gotta get a putter as my rossa went to my dad and im using my boss's(club pro)'s old puter, as he has like 40+ putters
just went to driving range, and ICEFIREOWNAGE took one swing with my driver and snapped the shaft, so i guess im getting one sooner than later. ive been looking at the G10, any other suggestions? no squares, or nikes or cobras, they sound like poop.
oops, I forgot to add that I played golf for the first time in 4 years a couple of weeks ago and shot 38, 39, and 37. I was only playing nine holes due to time constraints. I was very happy needless to say, my first tee shot in 4 years and I drove the green on a 310 yd par 4.
I forget what clubs I have, but I don't think they're anything name brand. I'm getting some new irons for this season with my tax return though, since my five-iron club head went flying at the end of last year and I'm long overdue for a new set. Any suggestions? I've been looking at Nike's and Callaway's and I'm looking to keep the price reasonable while still getting some good clubs.
o boy this setup has changed.
driver- cleveland hi-bore xl(old but i got it cheap and hit it really good.)woods-3 wood is same, macgregor tourney, getting a ping g10 5 wood soon i hopeirons- ping s-57, so fucking awesome i love them, 4-gap wedgewedges- cleveland 56&64 degree sand/ lob.putter-ping karsten anser2balls, same.
i got my ping anser2 karsten for $90, the g10(i think its called) is $120, either one is a great putter. but def go and try some out to see fi you want blade or mallet, get fitted too, its free at mos shops when you buy a putter, and helps a lot
