Didn’t buy yet but just put an offer on this house. It’s just a smidge out of budget, but it’s so beautiful and I want it

wooo! good luck. Doesn't hurt to put in offers. Offer what you can afford and if they accept it then the house is in your budget. Even if they turn you down it will get you on their radar. If things don't go as planned people are often looking up those previous offers to see if they are still looking to buy

Got one last winter.....sooooo warm

hell yeah. I always had one growing up, they’re worth every cent— my parents still have mine from 24 years ago and it’s in good condition.

A down comforter from the Company Store since they're running a sale and this is normally $349.

do they have to be dry cleaned? One of my friends with a down comforter is always complaining about how he has to dry clean his, but I'm not sure if he's just being crazy and could have just chucked it in the washing machine instead

It depends on what one you get. The one i bought is, they have a guide in how to properly wash and dry it at home so you don’t have to go to a dry cleaner. We grew up home washing mine I got at 5 and it’s still in good condition at age 24.

I would just hop onto the laundromat and use the huge ass machines everytime it smelled. Fabric spray goes a long way too

i’ve never washed my comforter blanket thing and i think it’s down. i just wash like the cover bit that you put it in

are you supposed to wash it ?

If you do duvet style, no you don’t necessarily need to since the blanket/cover is what gets dirty
