Learned last week that Salomon pays Look for the license on the patent for this toe.

Hyped for the 16s

Perhaps they used to, but do they still?

That driver toepiece design dates from before when I was born in like 1984 or 1985 with the 747 or 1988 with the 957 equipe... There have been some subtle changes to it as you'd expect, but it's, if anything essentially the exact same thing as the S900 Equipe toepieces of the mid-late 90s. You can still swap the springs out if I'm not wholly mistaken.

Not sure what law forces them to pay Look licensing fees for that, but I feel as though if it's been 30+ years since they adopted that design, they probably shouldn't have to pay anything anymore for patent licensing, right?

Clickbait, but worth it. This is going in my office.

need a review of the intuition booties they look comfy asf

i’m wearing them as we speak, they’re awesome. only drawback is they charge $30 for shipping from canada and they don’t give you any other options, so that’s annoying. unless you live in canada. they do arrive in 3-4 business days 30 bucks is certainly steep

Sounds like living in Alaska. "Free shipping" never applies to us, even though flat-rate USPS shipping costs exactly the same to here as anywhere else in the US. So frustrating.

Yeah I'm not sure if anything has changed but when I worked for Backcountry, "free shipping" only applied to the lower 48, but the website didn't specify and people in AK only found out by calling in. Nothing came out of my paycheck so I allowed all my employees to comp it as a measure of good faith but I definitely felt bad for people who didn't bother to call in

Well thank you for that. I've definitely paid shipping with Backcountry numerous times!

You really got the most bad ass topsheet with the goofyiest base graphic. Nice.

I waffled SO hard, and was gonna go with the "Botanical" topsheet initially, but that C+D is one of my favorite ski graphics of all time, and I sorta love the skeletal horseman of the apocalypse on the tails contrasting with the rainbow unicorn on the bases. It's cohesive enough for me haha!

Dad, please say ur kidding.

Hunting dawgs MIGHT go for that
