Korkers are so awesome. Love my pair

I’m contemplating whether or not to get them or another pair of simms, simms lasted me 3 years, looking for something to last 5-10

I have never smelled it before but I don’t want to imagine it

I'll like the post, but me no like scented waxes!

Folks have brought me skis with that kind of stuff, and I wanted to hurt them.

It's bad! Had to evacuate my shop, and use base cleaner to clean my scrapers and brushes! Sinful stuff.

I will not work on skis that have had any perfumed waxes applied.

What are the pros and cons of scented wax? Honestly didn’t know it was a thing.

It stinks when waxing, and perfume won't make the wax faster, or better. Stuff is for.........I can't say it.

Several cheap waxes do it. Oneball Jay comes to mind.

Okay, as long as you are happy, that's all that matters.

No matter what wax you use, the main thing is to keep them waxed up without overheating, and scrape and brush the crap out of them when you are done! Be sure to fully cool the wax at "room" temps. before you do that. 3 hours is best, or overnight.

Took advantage of some sales last week to get things off the wish list

The altimeter watch I've worn for 10 years cracked this summer. Good excuse to join the smartwatch trend

Realized I purchase a new GoPro every five years. Had the one, had the five, now I have the ten. Great for shooting reference photos, and hopefully a follow cam or two. Realistically, it'll probably just be a lot of footage of me skiing dad pow slowly.

I'm still out here waiting for GoPro to make a battery that works below 30 degrees.

Canon makes a great videocam that works good down to 14F. No good for follow, but great for static shots, and has 40x optic zoom!

The new GoPro Enduro battery is getting some pretty awesome reviews. Designed specifically for cold weather use. I ordered a couple of them, supposed to get here next week.

Some lightly used Tecnica Mach 1 120 lv. The Mach 1 LV heel hold is the best I’ve found but shit I always have to blow the forefoot out. I’ve got a laundry list of things to do to these boots.

Left my 130’s in Finland so I needed boots to tide me over until next year when I buy new boots.

i remember trying on tecnica mach 1's I got a noticeably better heel hold, but honestly i'm not so sure if they're the best boot for the skiing I'm doing with the skis i use

Yep! Really couldn’t beat the price and since it’s my first I don’t need the greatest boots ever.

T1s are a great boot! I started last season on a similar pair of crispi boots and upgraded to NTN pretty quickly. I'm excited to hear about your tele adventures this season!

I wish someone had told me the opposite about ski boots

Lmao yeah probably not the best move if you aren’t a boot fitter, only reason I’m not worried is b/c I have tools to work with em

The most important thing to ask one's self before the first telemark gear purchase is if you are ready for the hoardes of men and women who will throw themselves at you in the liftline for the chance at attaining a mate who can easily asphyxiate them with a low power flex of the thighs. Are you sure you are prepared for this? It can be quite a burden.

Have you considered writing some Tele fanfics my guy?

I wish I could find a history of all my posts, because I'm sure I could whip up at least a couple of pages of tele-gospel from all of the incoherent bullshit I've spewed about the platonic, romantic, and sexual benefits of becoming a tele skier.

I've never found tele boots to need as much work as alpine stuff. Stick some footbeds in there and you're good to go.

Purchased a pair of 180 Season Aeros with STH2 16’s. Seems like the perfect all mountain ripper for an ex park rat. Bank account hurts for sure, I haven’t bought skis for full price since 2004.

In case yall don't know, Ian is a word working master. Can't wait to see this in person. I bought it as a gift, but I have a feeling I may be adding some items to my collection in the near future.

Tele boots are just comfy as hell. They usually have a wide toe box and the bellows are so nice for walking around. When I have the walk mode on in my teles they feel like a pair of slippers

Thrifted these baggy corduroy pants. Been looking for some jumbo cords for ever. Sadly not polo so can’t be jumbo cords but their landsend and super soft and warm, great quality
