First ever set off clipless pedals, for trail/enduro biking. Pretty damn nervous for this but figured it was worth giving it a try.

They’re absolutely worth it if you’re going to be riding up lots of climbs. Be prepared to tip over a few times though.

Haha yeah, was just out in the parking lot practicing manuals and playing around with them, felt super sketchy and definitively had some close calls to tipping over. I don't really care to much about the benefits going up but I think they will improve my riding on the way down. Have been struggling with slipping pedals allot lately trying to keep up with friends on clipless as soon as its time to pedal with allot of roots and rocks. Also gotten in a bad habit of going way to fast into allot of turns and dropping that inner foot lately so hopefully this will force me to go a bit more controlled and choose my lines better.

So worth it on the uphill. If you bail hard they are gonna release the vast majority of the time so don’t be nervous. Kinda like low din ski bindings.

I've had those same pedals for a couple years now, and they've been great. Like the others have said, they're worth it. If I were you, I'd got find a nice soft grass field, and practice clipping and unclipping a bunch. Make it second nature the way you twist out, especially on the uphill or downhill.

Had my first day on them today, went straight to some fairly steep and technical runs and did not die at least so thats good, even set a new PR. Had some really close calls when slipping out in a few turns but somehow either managed to find traction or desperately clip out with my inner foot. Felt the advantages on the rougher flatter parts though, could get in a few solid pedal strokes on places I would normally just have to ride over. On the climbs it almost felt harder, but I think that was due to the cleats being mounted a bit to far forward. Can't see myself ditching the flats completely as it kind of sucked not being able to play around doing dumb shit in the same way though but will be nice to have both.

Mainly Kitesurf and totally Slingshot fan, but I'm stuck for an internship in the french Alps so I decided to invest in a season pass at the local cable.

Slightly have buyers remorse but whatever I’m sure it’ll be worth it. Managed to get this for a little under 7 Hundred and there’s not a speck on the lens so I’m super happy with it.

Been dreaming of a servo cam w a century lens since I was like 15
