1. bought a bird is the word recently, but i didn't feel like posting it in here to avoid PM's.

If those are the INFARED ones, they are dopee. My friend had them last year, one of the freshest looking shoes I have seen in person.
 
You should probably spend more money on your education, who can really do anything with "to" pairs of shoes anyways?

fair enough. I don't mean to be a dick, it just boggled my mind when I read they cost ~700.

If that's your thing, more power to ya I guess.

No. I have 3 pairs. Usually in the 300 range. Also, sometimes go on sale.

Margielas, Lanvins and Rafs, all are way more expensive. My Rafstros were like 850 bucks. DBSS are pricey too.

and new brake shoes, basically the two crescent shaped "shoes" that get pushed outward by the cylinder, against the brake drum (also new)

 
incredible quiver.
it's gonna be difficult for you to break out the jj's unless there's over a foot of fresh. if i were you i would have gone with an arg or something else that's straight pow, but nonetheless, you're gonna be stoked on life year round.
 
haha i couldn't be more stoked! i really have no idea which ski i'll end up using more, but you can't go wrong with either of them.
