the original record

ah shit, I forgot about XX....

Well, for real, my most recent purchase was my Bike-in-a-box; I have all the parts of my new bike except for cranks, pedals, wheels and frame next to me right now. SO stoked.

i believe the mountain category was established, but honestly i'd way rather have that. wanna build up a steel wool frame with dura-ace derailleur, ultegra rest, keep my ultegra-openpro wheels, have an unbeatable city-commuting machine.

I was going to go there, but decided to try to stay with the mountain category.

There are those old Shimano AirRide shifters or something, that ran on pressurized air.

So weird went into a convience store in brooklyn to grab a drink, an low an behold I saw one of these bad boys, I had to buy it.... that's about as far as I got with my logic of getting it. I really wanna go on the dorm balcony and shoot it off, but I feel like thats illegal lol?

i used to think that too until my ultergra flight decks started break down just from old age and a lot of miles.

the part that broke was a just a small plastic joint on the downshift side. if i had either chorus or record i could have purchased a $4 part, paid $20ish to get it put in, and have basically new controls.

but because i had shimano i had to buy a whole new shifter. just saying.

I know its old school but you should look into bar end shifters controlled with tension instead of the modern day shifters which dominate today with interval shifting. I have a pair of shimano bar end shifters on my touring bike that have been through 10,000 miles without any trouble whatsoever. not to mention with the tension control you can dial it in without every really having to fuss with your derailer

for what car ?

btw, super swamper are the shit ! run em on low pressure and they're simply unbeatable in the mud :)

I bought some jeans:

You see from top to bottom:PRL Dark blue Chino slim fit.

PRL Jeans slim fit.

Nudie Blackish Grim Tim fit.

I like some of their tee shirts. but that's it.

The flannels are just so nice and warm. like i don't know, the sweatshirts i can get anywhere else just without the j/crown. but it's kinda hard to find good flannels.
