You have no idea how cheap I got these for...

I love the fact that I know people that work in Junkyards who know how to hook it up fat.
 
Not my last purchase, but a serious endeavor of building a whole new bike for myself starts hopefully tomorrow.

Wish me luck, I have never done this before.
 
I built a bike this summer. Twas a real blast. But if you're not using new parts expect it to cost more and take more time then you initially think.
 
I work at a bike shop, so everything is going to be brandass new. I get a pretty good deal on stuff ;)

More than getting a new bike, even, I am just really fucking excited to build a bike from the ground up, the way I want it. It seems really cool to just have the idea in my head of what I want, and then carry it out, and gradually get the parts and have everything finally come together.
 
I bought a back 700c wheel with a flip flop hub to start my project. and kept going from there I bought a 10 dollar steel frame and just built the bike up. then again I was working with old ass parts and ran into problems like reverse threaded headsets and stems that didn't fit but eventually it worked for me. For you, it should be like assembling a bike cause you got shiny new meant to go together parts instead of my ghetto POS.
