Yea. My gf made it for me. The stitching is sooo tight. Its like a friggin' helmet. But anyways... I am learning, slowy but surely.

ok how do you knit hats so you don't have to make earflaps afterwards and crochet them on? I knit a ton so this would most likely save me a ton of time.

i use this stuff called thik and quik with size 13 needles, it works up super quik and mad nice looking.i knit 42 and knitt and pearl for like 8 rows, then just go up in a square, then when u get the the right length, just keep knitting 2 together until you come out with one. then tie it and crochet up the top.

you knit them from the bottom up, then knit the back, then add it onto your circular needle. its a little more tricky

lions brand thick and quick is the best, thats what i use. i usually use a size 10, which is small, but it makes the knit tighter and warmer.

 
i just use circular needles when i knit, size 9 or 10

correct me if im wrong but crocheting is with 1 hook like needle where as knitting is 2 diferent ones.

yeah that shit is awesome. where can i get patterns for stuff like that? i asked my mom to crochet me something, and she knows how, but needs patterns. i'd be into something with ear flaps, a brim, a pompom thing on top, all that shit for sure
