that sucks! what age did you coach?coaching is so much fun, I love my lil racer babies. The girls I nanny now were in my group this season haha thats how I got the job
 
i was a racer until i became 15... then started racing against Junior Olympians and decided to quit racing. then i broke my hand. the next season i came back and went blasting by the coaches and asked if they could use some help and they said yes. i usually worked with the J5 and J6s..... or took the J3 and J4 kids on powder runs since i was coaching while skiing on a set of K2 Seths..... only at Mt. Baker will you see that.
 
That is almost exactly what I did. Raced til i was 15, had surgery on my feet and quit, and then the head coach recruited me the night before I was supposed to start haha. I coach J6's, they are so much fun but I think I'm gunna go with the J5's next year. Thats cool that you coached on your Seths, I coached a few days on my Invaders and Pandoras haha that was fun.
 
the fun thing was taking the teenagers onto the big double black almost alaskan style runs that baker has and you can find and me pretending to be Seth Morrison and doing Lincoln Loops and shit while im supposed to be teaching kids how to race... coaches got angered with me until they realized i could do it for the most part then they chilled out and started to trust me more.... and then being a big guy i got forced to carry the gates everywhere..... two sets so whats that... like almost 40 poles on each shoulder....

haha I bet the kids loved you. I'm like the smallest coach so they always just let me take the kids while everyone else is setting up haha it's so easy.

plus i knew like half of the snowboarding coaches so the coaches and a lot of the kids got a kick out of it if i saw someone that i knew (and generally on off days would ride with) and run up, tackle them and throw them in snow drifts....

winter: Ski instructor

$11/hour + pass + food + tips
 
ski instructor in utah by winter, chill at a marina in tahoe by summer.

both over $10/hour and i love what i do

i wish we had stimulus money haha. my pool is broke as fuck. unfortunately the guy above me, who is responsible for directing the park district funds, is totally incompetent. it leads to a lot of ghetto rigged fixes ahahhaha.
 
unfortunately hes one of those guys that doesnt realize it would be cheaper to fix it once the right way, than 10 times the wrong way
 
yup kinda like me and my used car. I pay less thinking i got a deal, but then pay way more in repairing it than I could of in just buying a new one. Kinda similar?

I cook at a strip club and make 8 USD an hour plus tips. I also am in the Army National Guard which sends me a check for $7-800 per month since I am a full time student.
 
pretty much yeah. but i think the best was last year when we were using garden hoses to pump water in the kids spray area. the giant bucket that fills once every 3 minutes normally dumped once every 45 mins lol.
 
yea I work at a summer camp during the summer making $100 dollars a week, working 14 hour days putting up with a bunch of annoying Boy Scouts. My shower consists of a sink faucet attached to a hose, and I live in a tent. i hate shitty jobs lol.
 
19 years oldcaddy in the summer/spring make anywher from 80-150+ a day for like 5 hours of workwinter work at a ski shop making 8 and hour selling and renting ppl skis, and do some shop work

Injection molding eh? I do the same... do you work on the presses? The usually have me on an automated press and just do quality control or assembly or some shit like that. I'm turning 18 in June and i make about the same as you like 8$ and hour.
 
i do something similar to this guy during the day...
my old man and I also have a search and recovery diving business, so we go get bodies out of the river when someone drowns, get cars out, raise sunken boats, etc....and charge a ridiculous $$$/hr. to do it.
 
i just applied for a sweet job working at the airport for the summer, working baggage ouside, filling gas tanks, driving luggage carts around, driving the stairs, all that kind of stuff. Hopefully ill get it, cause that would be an absolutely ill job. blaze all day and just chill outside
