Use Hypercam 2, its a free program that allows you to take video of anything on your screen. Google it and it'll come up.

My X-games run. No cutting or splicing scenes, I did it all in one go. The only thing I want to redo is the blindside 270 mute off, I was trying to blindside switch up the down rail and then 270 off... oh well, this was hard enough to do as is.
and on a final note, RELEASE JIBBERISH 2! Wooohooo!

what settings do you use on hyper cam to keep it from becoming all choppy. when ever i try it. it comes out like shit and is super choppy.
You have to select a region, not a window. Also, reduce the resolution of the game via the options menu in the game. That was recorded at 640 I think

i did that and it still came out super choppy. the background goes all black, and the character dissapears randomly.

is there a specific codec you use, how many FPS do you record in. how many FPS do you replay in? How often are your key frames? all that stuff would be helpful to know.
I think that the real issue might be the hardware you're using. You probably have a lesser video card than I do, or less RAM. Those are my top two culprits anyways.
I didnt mess with FPS or anything, I just downloaded, installed and went. And I dont use the replay thing in Jibberish either, I just set it up to record and did a bunch of runs, then clipped the huge 300MB video down to just that one run.
