Grades (Plus or minus a percent)

Contemporary Philosophy: 80%

Greek Philosophy: 79%

French Literature, Comp and Interpretation: 87%

History (50 B.C. to 1500 A.D.): 70% (fuck)

English Literature, 800 A.D. - 1700: 100%

Before my exams, that is.

yes college that island or sirens out of the odysey... everything looks good and fun until youre there. theres plenty of partying and people and stuff to do. its an intellectually stimualting wonderland of happiness, productivity and creativity. but thats not how it works. how it really works is some asshole who doesnt give a fuck about you but for some reason still comes in everyday to preach the same shit hes preached for 10 years, expecting you to know it instantly and recite it back on a test. after youre through what do you get? a school career service that cant wait to throw you into a mediocre and meaningless job so you can continue toiling away for the rest of your life.

^Heh, yeah, and I can't think of very many programs that you could take to avoid that eventuality, which is why I'm going for law. Arts is just a waste though; one of my favourite quotes about college was my friend who said (when feeling disillusioned):

'I think I'm going to drop out and work at starbucks, instead of graduating in four years with an arts degree and working at starbucks.'

i dont remember the exact grades, but my quarter average was 85.03... only brought my 86.73 gpa down to 86.62

If you have a 1380 SAT and a 86.71 GPA... what does everyone say? Not good job, not 'O wow, thats awesome!' No, they say things like 'You are an underachiever'

I wish the guy who started this thread posted his english mark. C'mon, 'first tirm'???

As for me, i'm at that happy point when you stop giving 2 fucks about your grades, because you realize how little they are, and that all SFU TAs are idiots who mark your work based on how much they like checking you out in tutorial. This bodes badly for me, being a guy...and seeing as most TAs are guys...God I hope they aren't gay. Guess I'll find out when I get my marks back!

i have staight b+'s accept chem, cause it always is my last block on friday, and fridays r my 'fuck school, go skiing' days...so i'm thinkin about dropping it, i already have bio, physics, and computer studies

 
Gaah, my grades are ok. I have a couple A's, couple B's, couple C's. College is freakin hard. Finals are raping me up the bunghole.

Life is simple: Eat, sleep, ski.

Apparently throwing snowballs at moving vehicles is a felony and can land you in prison for a year. Who knew?

so i have (college) exams next week....woo woo then im done...well just for a month....and im sure you will all want to know my marks but i dont get them til the 20th. but going into them i have an average of 83%

Highschool is pretty easy. I breeze past it but i have good genes. I got all A's and 1 B+, and i take four honors courses. Not too shabby.

You can't say how much easier HS is than college, because we dont all go to the same HS. My sister went to Dartmouth, and she said it wasnt that much harder than highschool

I dont know what my acctual grades are but i have a 4.0 and i DONT have to take exames if i have above an 85 in that class and havent missed more than 2 day (im in high school)

for those who say high school doesnt mean shit....im a senior now so ill be going to college next year...i fucked around in high school my first 3 years so this year i had to step it up...it doesnt matter tho...my gpa or my act score wont let me into any college outside of my state so im stuck here

the only reason i have an 88 in AP pysc is cause our teacher is a retard and to avoid having to teach gives us open book exams a lot, and i actually would have had an A in italian which would have been a first, but i had a 15% homework average

To all the people saying high school grades dont matter, Im not sur eif I understand how that can be true. ISnt the point of high schoolo gfrades to get you into a good univeristy? I mean, without good grades in high schol, universities wont accept you will they? Im just wondering where you guys are comming from in saying this
