I'm making a powerpoint right now for a class and was thinking of what would be good to listen to. I chose the Pretty Lights album Wasting Your Precious Time. I cant have lyrics while i study and it flows so well.

Ratatat. straight beats, though. no rap remixes. if you hear a beat you recognize from a rap remix, you might be distracted. otherwise, good stuff.

that or The Rippingtons...which essentially is just elevator music. no lyrics, nothing. my dad had an old CD of them and it found its way onto my iPod and now i listen to 'em all the time while studying. it is PERFECT background music.

thank you for exposing me to this. This shit is sooo ill... I wanna shred to this man... +K for bringing up the stoke level.

music that I listen to when I study needs to either be really chill or wordless, otherwise I can't focus. So Red Hot Chili Peppers (their chill stuff), Rattatat, rjd2, John Mayer (talk shit all you want, it is good study music), quieter Dave Matthews, and pretty much any wordless electronica.

for those late as fuck nights

paul van dyk, armin van buuren, telepopmusik, other random trance and shit, some star wars (especially empire strikes back), some lotr, some braveheart, some other scores

Kindof wierd but I listen to the soundtrack to Lord of War. Search up Antonio Pinto, its actually really easy to study to. Clint Mansel is good too, he did the music for Requiem for a dream

so true.
I have the () album. Its great for studying.
I can't quite desipher what they are saying.
So far the only lyrics I can make out are, "You sat along the fire" I'm pretty sure those are the only lyrics cause everything else just seems like a variation of that.
Aside from that I like to go on Pandora and listen to the Album Leaf station.
However my current studying music (kinda studying right now) is a combination of TV on the Radio and Blur.

i feel like i should like jack's music, but i just dont. i dont know why. i like similar shit, but i just cant listen to him and enjoy it. it feels artificial or something.
