i don't really like the reventon myself, but the murcielago in the past few years has been a major turn-on. the styling is eye-catching, i mean you don't normally mistake a lambo for something else. as far as racing goes, i would probably never use a lambo for it because they are more of a flashy car than a racer (although some people tune them for racing and they come out pretty strong). if lambo ever came out with a true racing beast i think it could perform well though, they make some seriously burly engines, they would probably just need a change in suspension and rear visibility. as far as 9-second races go, i haven't seen much claiming from lambo themselves (aside from the reventon), because i don't think lambo is as focused on racing as other companies (like rolls or bentley, only with sharper lines and better aerodynamics). basically, i could see myself buying a lambo for the same reasons as i would buy a rolls, except that lambo obviously has a much lower reputation and class than rolls.
