stop promoting apple dude. shits getting old, both pcs and apples have there pros and cons, most people buy cheap pcs and have a bad experiance cause they were only willing to drop around 300 bucks on a pc. but then they get a 1200 macbook and all of a sudden macs are so much better, but if they just spent the money in the first place on a pc they would have a quality system. for virus i've have computers with every single operating system starting at windows nt, and none of them have any virus. this is because im not an idiot and protect my investestments. but it doesnt mean i have to spend more money. all of my firewalls and virus scans were free. as for speed, pcs and apple both have the same speed. your stupid not to think so. and for editing its all a mater of opinion. whether you choose final cut or premier you will end up with a quality machine. and lets not forget that apple has just recently switched there main processors to intel, up on till now only were available on pcs(aswells as linux, but for the sake of my arguement and the basic consumers operating systerm im going to leave out). so stop promoting apple. oh and the new apple ads dont make anysense. if i cant have fun on my pc, why is it that 90% percent of computer video games are only available on pc?
 
ha ill keep promoting as much as i want. anywho who's used both recently knows which is better. im just a fan and like to point out the stuff apple shit comes with. get over it. 
 
that article proved nothing. and you cant compare apple to dell any one with the slightest knowledge in electronics can tell you this. dell is known for there afordable computers, not there professional stations. Some of the information that came in that wasnt even the standard features with the new mac pro.

and as for your other comment your full of shit. i have used both recently, infact i edit with a g5, but have used the new macbooks, macbookpros, and mac pro. i have nothing against apple products, i just pointing out that pcs arent the peices of crap that you make them out to be. and that for my personal computer i run windows xp.

lets not forget whos laptops blow up too.
 
ahahaha i'll give it to you apple fucked up with the macbook that time. they decided that a fan wasnt necessary, ummm not the greatest idea.
